I’m booked in for an obstetric ultrasound, what else should I know?

We understand that welcoming a new bundle of joy is an exciting, yet apprehensive, time for expectant parents.  During your ultrasound we will point out the features of your baby, while also recording the necessary diagnostic images.  We encourage you to bring a USB stick so we can provide you with pictures of these precious early moments in your baby’s early development.

If you do decide to bring your children to the ultrasound, we recommend you have someone to help supervise, so you get the most out of the scan.  There is a small out of pocket charge for morphology and nuchal translucency scans which will be advised of at the time of booking.

What is the cost?

We bulk bill all services with the exception of morphology and nuchal translucency scans.
